Maturity

Day 72 - Maturity
Most people are considered mature when they reach a certain age.  For some, it is eighteen, some twenty-five, and some never.  In today's lesson, Billy describes people who are not spiritually mature.  They are the found but still haven't moved forward in the Christian walk to a point of maturity.

What has happened to these who seem to be stuck. Was it a life experience or someone in the church that has stunted their growth.  Or was it some other factor.  Only God and that person knows, but it is up to that person to move forward to have the fire be ignited in them,to desire growth and a closer relationship with God.  1 Corinthians 3:1 - Brothers and sisters, I could not address you a people who lives by the spirit but as people who are still worldly - mere infants in Christ.

This scripture says that some people still have one foot in the world and one in Christ.  This is not what Christ intended.  The whole body is to be fixed on Christ, but the only way this can happen is if the person truly resolves to be IN CHRIST.  Only God can woo that person back.
